Run your own home automation hub - escape the IoT clouds!
If youve spent your money on IoT devices you know that IoT automation can be slow and unreliable with restricted rule sets and manufacturer lock-in. Do you want your *home* automation to stay in your home? Should it really be run over the internet in someone elses cloud? You may feel uncomfortable about using an overseas owned internet/cloud service to monitor and control your home lights and appliances. I want my lights to turn on even when my internet connection is down! With AutomationManager you manage your own *local* automation server to break free of those other systems. Reprogram your overseas managed cloud IoT devices for safe local access. This is NOT the official product apps. You will still need the official app at least once to connect your devices to your WiFi (they use a locked/proprietary methods to set your router password into the device).Refund policy: your app purchase will be refunded if you are not satisfied with the app or you return your devices. Check the developer site (below) for the refund procedure (its painless). Why not free? Unlike most IoT apps, AutomationManager is NOT collecting your personal information and habits in the cloud. There is no intention to direct advertising to you in the future. This pays for support and development, and is NOT funded by selling private information to 3rd parties.Works with: Belkin WeMo: Dimmer, Motion, Switches, Insight, Socket, Maker, NetCam (motion only), Link, supported appliances OSRAM lightify hubs and accessories TP Link: bulbs, plugs, and switches Philips Hue: bridges, lights, switches, sensors Philips Wiz: lights, switches, sensors LIFX: all bulbs YeeLight bulbs Tuya devices (beta) Many ESP8266 based devices w/ custom firmware (see dev website) Custom devices including IFTTT wrappers and weather/temperature SmartThings cloud integration Tasmota, ESPurna devicesAutomationManager includes: - AM Manager to control your devices while you are connected to your home wifi - Widgets - build a central console of your own design - A local Alexa bridge (very fast responses) - AM Remote for secure remote access (wifi or 3G/4G) - AM Scenes for single touch control of multiple devices (e.g. "Watch a movie") - Event log viewer - ESP8266 Manager for custom device configurationAutomationManager works with the following apps: - AM HomeBridge to HomeKit for iOS/Siri/iPhones - IFTTT/Stringify for voice with Amazon Alexa and Google Home - AutomationOnDrive adding: - Web browser access - persistent logging to Google Drive - DscServer for DSC panel integration using an envisalink card - Thermostat hub/server for wifi enabled CT-30/CT50/CM50Protect your privacy using your Google personal cloud server for remote access, access via a web browser, voice integration, and logging. I've been using Automation Manager for many years and nothing gets close to it's perfection and ease of use. There are many ways in which one can access one's IoT switching devices locally and remotely and AM's set of logically implemented rules mean that your IoT will run itself whilst you are relaxing at home or away if you so desire. The rules can send you reports about the status of your devices if wanted too. All this coupled with unparalleled support from the developer.
Very solid product and excellent support.
Hi, is it possible to add Tplink KP115 device? Edit: Emailed. Thank you for your help
It just works flawlessly, never misses a beat. Great piece of well engineered software.
I don't ask for a lot with IoT. I need something that works when I need it work. This app does just that, it just works.
Really love this app as it integrates wemo with the older dsc using envisalink. That way you can use the dsc door sensors to turn on wemo lights etc. The wemo part is very transparent to use and the number of options in the tasks is quite incredible - more than any other app of its kind. It also will work with non-wemo devices but rather more work is needed than many of us would want to do. MikeP is great with help by email etc. I love his style and wish him every success
Quality. Bought to replace an awful wemo app. Works flawlessly so far. Thanks dev. 👍
The best APP using for over 3 years now flawless Thanx So much MIKE
AutomationManager (AM) saved me from throwing away ~ US$500 worth of WeMo devices. Using the native WeMo control - which requires cloud access - is EXTREMELY unreliable. It's so faulty that I was ready to trash everything due to the frustration of having system failures on a daily basis. AM fixes all that by allowing the user to control his/her WeMo devices from a LOCAL server (in our case, our "server" is an old Android phone that I still had after upgrading phones). By not relying on a cloud-based service, AM has converted our WeMo switches and outlets into a DEPENDABLE network of "smart" devices for our home. Plus, not only is AM rock-steady, it is quite flexible, so that I do things with my WeMo devices that Belkin's WeMo app simply cannot do. Mike provides excellent support for his app, and is easy to contact and interact with (providing -another- stark difference between AM and the Belkin/WeMo app). If you're wanting to use WeMo hardware, then you should get AutomationManager - it's really that simple. Like I said, I would not be using WeMo devices in our home anymore if I did not have AutomationManager to control them.
absolutely you unbelievable app , Mike you have out done your self worths every penny i love it
